Who is Saraswati?

Saraswati is the hindu goddess of speech, knowledge, arts, and music.

Her life is dedicated to accessing deep states of meditation and discerning truth from within. In depictions of Saraswati, her swan, the Hamsa, sips on water and milk and is able to separate milk from water, which metaphorically speaks to knowing our truth. Sometimes the goddess is seen with a peacock. The peacock represents beauty and dance. Peacocks can also represent vanity and indecision. Thus, its presence is a reminder to curb these two qualities. She teaches us to go within, and trust out inherent gifts. This is why it makes sense that her shadow side would have us doubting those gifts, and questioning out intuitive powers. We find Saraswati in Rivers, Oceans, Lakes, and Streams. Anywhere there is water. In fact, her name means "to flow" - to be in the flow with your creative capacities. Saraswati connects us to our artistic gifts; when you see a beautiful dancer, read a wonderful piece of writing, or hear someone speak from the heart and cut right to the beautiful truth. That is Saraswati at work. Even better, she is the aspect of consciousness within each of us that holds creative ideas and sparks innovation, and she has everything to do with communication.

S. Hummingbird specializes as being a conduit between source and the divine creator. She clears blockages from the aura and chakras while providing healing to various parts of the body via Reiki's Healing energy. She also incorporates various holistic healing modalities some of which come from her cultural background. She has a strong connection and deep love for the healing of humans, pets, animals, plants, and the earth.

Her healing gifts have been passed on by her guides, ancestors, and tribe like hidden precious treasure. Her mom being a psychic and her great grandfather being a healer himself. A Curandero, which means Traditional Shamanic Healer. He was known in his pueblo as Santo. Santo meaning saint. The saint of the town, as he rightfully was. He treated and cured many souls with herbs and physical touch.

Santo alongside her lovely soul family is always present with her in her healing sessions as he shares his magic and fruitful knowledge through her and uses her as a vessel. You may say they are a united link between the spirit realm and physical realm. She stands by humbly offering her gifts, by honoring her ancestors, and being submerged in her indigeneity.

Hummingbird is blessed to have her guides by her side whether or not she is working her practice. Her guides reside within her, while some guide her in person and some in spirit, they spark and ignite the most potent medicine there is.
